Welcome to the blue world of Blue Bar Palace Mdrd, an ephemeral project created by the interior designer Rosa Urbano, on the occasion of the DECORACCIÓN 2018 celebration, and which will remain open throughout the summer.
The original installation, as an imaginary terrace, invites you to dream and relax by having a cocktail with "views" to the capital, since it also houses the YOU LOVE MADRID photo exhibition, with spectacular visuals by the artist Javier Aranburu, part of PHotoESPAÑA 2018.

Blue Bar Palace Mdrd is an ephemeral project created by the interior designer Rosa Urbano, on the occasion of the DECORACCIÓN 2018 celebration.
For the development of this installation, whose theme is THE DREAMS, Rosa has been inspired by the color blue, a color associated with desire and that evokes peace and tranquility.
With the name of BLUE BAR PALACE MDRD, created in its entirety with Spanish suppliers and brands, we find some design elements that remind us of the sky, the sea and the tropics, and by which we move to a space with a certain Miami Beach flavor of the 50s.
by Javier Aranburu
On the other hand, the installation will feature the photography exhibition YOU LOVE MADRID, by the great photographer Javier AraNburu, who is also part of PHotoESPAÑA 2018, an international festival of photography and visual arts, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary and presents 100 exhibitions with works by 514 artists.
Javier AraNburu, through his photographs, looks at the diversity of Madrid and wants to show a very personal collection, which speaks of Madrid through "microhistories" of the city. In this way, we can find from the famous violinist Ara Malikian on the roof of the Ministry of Agriculture with the pegasus in the background, even a mysterious woman who with all its glamor takes a cane and a "bocata" of squid.
"Madrid is a living city, where things happen constantly. With this selection I have tried to play with the cinematographic point, in which the viewer first has the feeling that something is happening and then imagines what may happen next. They are stories in themselves with open ends, " says the author.
All the images in this exhibition have several factors in common: the balance in all the elements that appear in the photograph; a very careful chromatism and the constant search for the optimal light moment. All this means that sometimes an unreal or pictorial sensation is transmitted.
