Le agradezco encarecidamente que dispusiera todo lo necesario para que nuestra estancia en el Palace el pasado día 22 fuese tan agradable como siempre; fue todo un detalle el regalo que recibimos en la habitación.  Como siempre, el trato del personal ha sido exquisito. Volveremos a elegir este hotel en 2009 para nuestras celebraciones mas importantes.  Reciba un saludo y feliz navidad

This hotel was our "home away from home" due largely to your hospitality. It seems like we had questions after questions, day after day, day and night and you always had the answers. This is a very nice hotel but it is still just a building. What makes it different is its staff. You were the Palace Hotel and the Palace hotel was you. A million thanks to you for all your patience and your efficient handling of all our needs. We will be forever grateful.

Subject : “Especially if you are an art fan, stay here!”

I really loved this hotel...primarily because of its location. If you are an art fan, as am I, I wouldn't recommend staying anywhere else. You can get to any of the golden art triangle hotels in 5 minutes by walking. Plaza Mayor & Puerta del Sol was about a 10 minute walk and the Palacio Real was maybe another 10 minutes. I didn't use transportation at all while in Madrid, as the hotel was so well located that I was very easily able to walk wherever I needed to go, particularly the tourist attractions.
We had reached there very early in the morning and the staff was incredibly helpful in ensuring that we were able to get a room. Of course, being a Starwood Preferred, I am sure that helped expedite the process. The concierge was really good in providing us any information we needed, making restaurant reservations and getting us travel service when we needed it. The only downside was that the beds were a little too soft and room service is a total ripoff (even though it was pretty good!)...but the room was a really nice size and the place was very clean. I would stay here again and I really recommend it...As an added bonus for those caffeine friends, there is a Starbucks right around the corner. :

Subject: Stay for two days
Hi,My husband and I stayed with you for two days (September 20, 21).  We were extremely pleased with the staff because they were polite and helpful.  Everyone from the door man to the bell men, check in agents, maids, bartenders, waiters and waitresses were outstanding doing their job.

La habitación es hermosa y con una vista espectacular. Fuimos atendidos de maravilla, desde la recepción hasta la salida

En primer lugar, los edificios de los WESTIN que yo conozco son excepcionalmente hermosos, bien conservados, confortables, bellos. luego, el staff resulta bien entrenado, correcto y de buen ver; a veces, la atencion no es la esperable, pero bueno, es lo que hay. tambien la ubicacion dentro de la ciudad me resulta conveniente y comoda. es de destacar la actitud de los concierges con los que he tratado, son personas superprofesionales, rapidas y te resuelven problemas; cosa importante, principalmente cuando uno viaja.
